After graduating high school, Ambedkar moved on to Columbia University. Ambedkar soon graduate from this honorable university and studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The London School of Economics and Political Science is where Ambedkar formulated many of his ideas connected to social equal opportunity in India. After leaving London, Ambedkar return to India to pursue a career and start a family.
Ambedkar pursued many ventures after completing his formal education. While Ambedkar experienced medium success at the starting of all of these ventures, he finally failed when his clients refused to work with him due to his status as an Untouchable. After experiencing differentiation and hardship as a child, these economic troubles were the last straw. Ambedkar determined to enter the Indian political system to change the harms that plagued so many poor people.
As a politician, Ambedkar spearhead many campaigns that aimed to protect Untouchables and spiritual minorities throughout India. Ambedkar also led protests and spoke about the importance of Untouchables pursuing education to climb out of their miserable social situation. By the time Ambedkar died, he had helped make India a more tolerable place for Untouchables and minorities.
